Richmond Tapestry Group

In 2021, we were asked if we could make a panel showing the church for the Craigmillar Tapestry.  Three of us decided to give it a go, and with help from three excellent tutors, we completed the panel in 2022.  It’s on display at ‘The Hub’ on Hays Avenue, with the other panels of the tapestry.  We are now working on a second panel.

The group meets most Tuesday afternoons at the Hub, at 1.30pm.  We were all complete beginners when we started, so if you would like to come along to see what we are doing and enjoy a chat and a cuppa, please do!

The ‘stitchers’ also used to be part of the ‘Friends Group’ at the church.  The photos below show some of the things we did together.
